Why YELF Exists

Africa Is Rich in Youth.
But Opportunity Is Scarce.

Over 60% of Africa's population is under 25. Yet millions of these young people face unemployment, limited access to quality education, and few pathways to professional development.

YELF Africa was born from a simple conviction: every young African deserves a fair chance. Not just inspiration — but real skills, real mentors, real opportunities.

Since 2012, we've been building that bridge — connecting youth to leadership academies, skills apprenticeships, entrepreneurship training, and career pathways that create lasting change.

Mr Mensah Richmond — Founder

"I started YELF because I grew up in a community where talent was everywhere — but opportunity was nowhere. Young people with extraordinary potential were trapped by circumstances beyond their control. YELF exists to change that equation. One young person at a time, we are building the Africa we know is possible."
